|Ignore the laundry on the sofa. It's folded at least!|
When I'm in a cemetery, my heart breaks when there is a monument that has fallen over. I can't do much about that but I can and I do garden! In fact, on my recent trip with my father, I was pruning the perennials that were planted by the gravestones, and I was removing the grass and weeds that were growing over the veteran brass plates. I wished that I had had better tools and gloves. I'll know for next time.
Of course, I doubt my cousins would understand that I actually like the ~look~ of graves. I like the look so much that when Pottery Barn (yes, I know... it's an addiction) came out with their Chalkboard Tombstones, I purchased them instantly (with a 20% off total purchase coupon!)... and then waited and waited and waited. They arrived today and GWEEE! They are adorable. Technically they're supposed to be placed outdoors but I think they'll find a home in my house somewhere. Now, what witty inscriptions shall I add... hmmm.
