DeleteFine. I confess I actually went to Home Sense yesterday when I was in the city, but they only had a few of those mercury glass pumpkins on the shelf, and every single one of them had their sticky blingy bits peeling off so I wasn't tempted in the slightest. It's so unfair you get such an early start on your holiday shopping enjoyment and I have to wait for probably a couple more weeks!

DeleteAfter you posted these pictures on Facebook I asked my man if we could go to America for a Halloween shopping spree. I showed him pictures of your fabulous home, and pointed at things and said stuff like: 'But look, just look at that - why can't we get stuff like that over here?!"

ReplyDeleteI tend to say "thingy" whenever I don't know the word :p I would call it a cake stand but one really can't fit cakes on it with the pole through the center. Candy stand? Two tier server tray? Hmmm.
