Halloween in the cemetery

It's FINALLY beginning to look like Fall here in Virginia.

This morning, I strolled through Hollywood Cemetery and took a few pictures of the changing leaves. I'm sure many of you have been seeing this for weeks now but only this week have the actual colors started to change. Happy Sigh.

Happy Halloween!

  1. Did you find my Shovel story written for the Contest over at Thrill or Shiver

Its a two parter. Look for the the name The Shovel on the side bar for a link if you don't find it right away.

    1. Part of being a tour guide at the cemetery is knowing that there are 2000 trees here. They are stunning! There is a Tulip Poplar that is nearly 10 ft in diameter!

  3. Beautiful trees, lovely cemetery! I must go over to ours today. We don't have your gorgeous fall colors here in California (some, but not much), but it's overcast so it will be beautiful in a different way. Hope your Halloween was spooky! :-)

I used to live outside of Boston and I can attest to their fall foliage. Beautiful!
