... Murnau's stolen head...

German news outlets are reporting that the head of F.W. Murnau, the director of Nosferatu (1922), has been stolen from his family plot in a cemetery in Stahnsdorf, Germany.

Grave robbers allegedly opened a metal coffin to access the Murnau’s embalmed body. Wax residue left at the scene has been considered to be a possible occult connection.

  1. That is SO pathetic... Some people just don't know what to do with their spare time.

    1. Even when I was a bored teen I don't recall thinking, "hey, I should go dig up a body that's been buried for 80-odd years and steal the head". Sad.
