...signs of spring...

O, wind, if winter comes,
can spring be far behind?
~Percy Bysshe Shelley

This time of year, my garden is a sad bit of winter. Today I went for a 3-mile walk around the town and found a few signs of spring.

Aside from that, I am also enjoying my indoor plants while nature has other plans for outdoors. Fingers crossed that winter is behind us.

  1. Indoor flowers are good for helping bridge the winter gap. The red Amaryllis is finished, and now I'm not-so-patiently waiting for the kitchen window orchid to open its fat buds ... while desperately trying not to break off the spike when I'm near the sink.

  2. Your indoor plants are gorgeous! Funnily, I am waiting for signs of Autumn. It was 41 degrees celcius (105.8 fahrenheit) here yesterday! That's too hot!
